APRIL 23rd, TWO MEETINGS: HUDSON VALLEY PROPERTY TAX REFORM FORUM, AND SCHOOL BOARD MEETING

Property Tax Reform Forum:

This event will take place at the Marlboro High School Auditorium at 6:30pm.

The Town of Marlborough and the Marlboro Central School District are partnering to host a forum on Property Tax Reform. The purpose of this forum is to educate the public and offer concrete ideas with which to advocate for reform.

Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi, Chairman of the Statewide Commission on Property Tax Relief will be presenting on the recommendations of the Commission.

Ulster County Executive Mike Hein will welcome County Executive Suozzi and give remarks.

The League of Women Voters of the Mid Hudson Region will moderate a panel “question and answer” with additional participants:

  • 39th District Senator William Larkin, Jr.
  • 100th District Assemblyman Frank Skartados
  • David Little – Director of Government Relations for the NY State School Boards Association
  • Carole Krauss – Hudson Valley Property Tax Reform.

School Board Meeting.

The meeting will take place at the Marlboro Elementary School at 7:30pm.
